Interview
Alison, Amanda, Tricia, and I did an interview with Derrick Braun, a 21-year-old student at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Braun majors in Culinary Nutrition with a focus in Sustainability and Wellness. We chose him for this interview due to his background in organic bio-dynamic farming. He worked and lived on The Anthill Farm in Honesdale, Pennsylvania for a summer with his brother working for Sky Valentine, the farms owner. He is interested in exposing conventional food for what it is. We found him to be a perfect candidate for young people to relate to and express his own personal beliefs and ideas of answering our "big question". Here is our interview:
